Technical operation of this Website
We use Photon for address suggestions and OSRM to calculate route distances and journey times. The addresses entered and the coordinates of selected locations are sent to the relevant service provider through the Website server to provide these functions. To display the map, the browser communicates with OpenStreetMap tile servers.
Your current location is used only after you press the button and grant browser permission. The coordinates are used to identify the address and calculate the route. GPS routes and reverse address lookup results are not cached on the Website server.
A Polylang cookie is used to remember the language selection. Your choice to dismiss the cookie notice is stored in this device’s browser. This version of the Website does not have analytics or advertising cookies installed.
The addresses and selected time for an unfinished journey are stored in this device’s browser localStorage with a 24-hour validity period. Expired drafts are no longer restored and are deleted the next time the page is opened. You can also delete the draft using the calculator’s “Clear” button. Precise GPS coordinates and the calculated fare are not saved in this draft.
The WhatsApp link opens a prepared message containing the route, selected time and estimated fare. The visitor chooses whether to send the message. The driver confirms the journey.
